Sunder — Animated SHort Film
Sunder was one of my final projects as a senior Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). The entire team for the project was composed of the director/animator and myself. While she handled the entirety of the visual side of things, I took on the entirety of the audio. What we ended up with was this somber reflection with an entirely original score and a pair of fully and affectingly rendered characters telling a story of love and loss.
Final Fantasy Vii: Advent Children Trailer — Sound Resdesign
During my tenure as a student at SCAD, I was tasked with resdesigning the sound to a number of different types of video material. Done in collaboration with two other students, this was one of my first forays into animation and sci-fi narrative audio. I was thoroughly pleased with the results my team was able to get through within a short two weeks of work on the project.
Punks Are Dead — Short Film
"Punks Are Dead" is a punk rock, vampire, kung fu comedy set in the DIY music scene of Savannah, GA. Directed by Andy Koeger, I had a blast creating some reality bending synthesizer effects for this vaporwave romp as well as cutting some more realistic SFX to keep you grounded in this alternate universe’s version of this old south art town.
Colorblind — Student Short Film
This short film project was an experimental collaboration for our team of three – myself as the sound designer/composer, our director as camera operator/editor/colorist, and our single actor to drive the on-screen action. Despite another short turnaround, we came out of our experiment with a delightfully layered narrative with a lot of character.
The Bourne Supremacy - Car Chase — Sound Resdesign
Another sound redesign completed while in school at SCAD. I took on this ambitious clip to test myself and found it especially gratifying to be able to cover so much action and dynamic audio and see a scene this intense come together. Considering the two week turnaround and the fact that I worked the clip alone, I was satisfied with the amount of life I was able to lend to what is a sufficiently tricky bit of material to cover.
